How about the great economy? 70 percent earn less today than they did in 2016, if they aren't part of the 14 percent unemployed.
That beautiful, perfect healthcare program? So much better than that lousy Obamacare, if you don't count the the 120,000 unnecessary deaths from that hoax kung flu?

...and started looking at the issues that are really important to this country? Let's not talk about crowd size at a rally or how to drink a glass of water, let's talk about reduction of the national debt. Let's talk about GDP growth and unemployment rates under President Trump. I definitely want to hear how his plan to replace Obamacare with great healthcare for everyone is coming on and how much immigration has gone down. Shouldn't these be the things we're focusing on?8 AnswersPolitics2 days ago

I’m assuming by “European American” you mean white. I personally don’t like the term African American either because it’s factually incorrect, but that’s a different matter for a different conversation. I’m a white woman, and I don’t get defensive about most of those things. I support the BLM movement, and I would never want to subject anyone to slavery or Jim Crow laws. Police brutality is a serious problem in this country for people of any race, but when it happens to a black person, it often doesn’t get taken seriously. Victims of all races deserve to get justice for any type of police brutality. As an American who believes in the constitution, I support anyone’s right to kneel for the national anthem or burn the flag. It’s part of free speech. I don’t agree with affirmative action, since it encourages employers and schools to accept people with lesser qualifications just because they need to fill a quota for minorities. People should get jobs and education based on merit, not race. I understand that many white people are given opportunities that minorities may not have. White privilege exists, but no matter what race they are, people need to take some responsibility for their own lives. Many black people have managed to achieve great success in spite of unfortunate circumstances. Don’t forget there are plenty of white people who live with similar circumstances. Tearing down statues that represent European history isn’t really that big of a deal to me. I think the confederate statues need to be in a museum instead of public places. But that’s not about race. That’s simply my opinion that we should not honor people who participated in acts of treason. The confederates were traitors to this country and they lost the war. Why would we want to honor that? It’s part of history but doesn’t mean we need to glorify it.?72 AnswersPolitics2 days ago

Now that the FBI said that the noose found in Bubba Wallace’s garage had been there since October 2019, is it still bad or no?
The FBI learned that garage No. 4, where the noose was found, was assigned to Bubba Wallace last week. The investigation also revealed evidence, including authentic video confirmed by NASCAR, that the noose in garage No. 4 was in that garage as early as October 2019. Although the noose is now known to have been in garage No. 4 in 2019, nobody could have known Mr. Wallace would be assigned to garage No. 4 last week.
The decision not to pursue federal charges is proper after reviewing all available facts and all applicable federal laws. We offer our thanks to NASCAR, Mr. Wallace and everyone who cooperated with this investigation."13 AnswersNASCAR5 hours ago

As a white person, I'm honestly fine with this. I don't really care if you hate white people because we have not dealt with the racism people of colour have dealt with. We have not been throught the discrimination people of colour have been due to their race, and especially not like black people have.?
It's important for white people to acknowledge their privilege. We have not been through slavery, segregation, or discrimination because of our race. Police brutality happens to us, but not to the extent and the amount of black people.?127 AnswersPolitics4 days ago

I use to work for a company about a year ago. I’ve been through some troubles and decided to file for unemployment. After 2 payments I was mailed a letter saying I had to appeal or my unemployment would stop because I was fired for misconduct. That is true but it was for a reason. Me and my supervisor had gotten into an argument about what can and can’t be done. Long story short, he said we can do things my way for the night, he leaves, I do so, he comes back and starts scolding me for doing things my way after he said we would try it. Things escalate and he eventually walks up to me and threatens me with physical violence. Knowing me I retaliated and threatened him back. No witnesses for either of us as the are often very few people there. He told me to leave for the night and I did. The next day, I was fired by the owner of the company because he “Doesn’t want it to happen again”. I argued that if the supervisor had not threatened me, we would not be here. I also asked if the supervisor is facing any discipline. My question was ignored and I was dismissed. I left. The supervisor wasn’t even there at the meeting. It was just me, the owner, and I think the general manager or co-owner. I put that I was fired unfairly and I have medical bills to pay for such as insulin in my appeal. Did I mess up too much back then? Or do you think my case has a chance? I know I was wrong to threaten back but the threat to begin with was unnecessary. Nothing happened to the supervisor I heard.17 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 day ago
