Dr. Pamela Steed's dental practice is exclusively devoted to the diagnoses and treatment of TMJ disorders, a family of problems associated with the jaw. Since 1984 Dr. Steed has treated TMJ patients to decrease or eliminate their craniofacial pain and improve their ability to function. With a DDS and MSD degree (Master of Science Degree) in Oral Medicine/Oral Diagnosis/Oral Pathology, both from Indiana University School of Dentistry, Dr. Steed can diagnose and treat patients non-surgically to improve a person's quality of life.
Because symptoms of TMJ (jaw joint problems) and associated craniofacial pain syndrome can masquerade as so many different conditions, it is often difficult to diagnose.
